11:24 am - Mac Question
OK, I am now using Joachim's old Mac, because the 5-year-old PC my Mom gave me now has a blurry screen, and my 8-year-old thinkpad (a fine machine) freezes every couple hours.

So I'm on Joachim's old Mac, but I don't know much about it... I'd like to maybe install Sims 2, but I'm not sure what the specs of this machine are. You know how you can click on "My Computer" on a PC and find out everything you need to know? How do you do that on a Mac?

I don't know what OS he has, but to find out how much free space you have, I think you can go to the "GO" menu on Finder, click on "Computer." Click on "MacintoshHD" under "Devices" in the left hand side of the window that pops up, and hit the "Get Info" button at the top of the window.

To find out how much memory you have, click on that "Go" menu on Finder again, and select "Utilities." Click on "Activity Monitor" from the list that pops up. Click on "System Memory" in the window that comes up.

EDIT: At least, that's what I can do on my work Mac.
